Review: As mentioned in a previous review, this movie is a little too familiar to be interesting to watch. That said, performances, especially Affleck, good quality and leading actor portrayed their characters well. This is not an intelligent film than the original, but the setting and the story gives a sense of refreshment to the good man formulaic plot trumps action / thriller. I enjoyed the movie. I was on the edge of my seat, and I was not glued to the screen, but the fact that we have the whole cinema to ourselves meant we could Quip freely about what was going on and of course this adds to my enjoyment. There were some unintentionally funny moments, mostly toward the end, but it may be more of a personal observation and a number of viewers who might have a different view of it. Affleck was convincing and strong as the shady, ruthless business man and delivered their lines with appealing finesse. Timberlake was a good choice for the role of student Prinston thin skin in the first place, and its development as a character is well-timed throughout. In all, I enjoyed the movie, but it's not one I would rave about to friends. Prisoners are shown at the same time, and although I have not seen it yet, I can say with a relative degree of certainty that it would be seen more powerful and rewarding.
