Review: Based on 60 Peabodys short Blurred History, DreamWorks and director Rob Minkoff (The Lion King) still brings updated the original characters in this story romp.The quite fascinating and colorful story of Mr. Peabody, to dogs Communication (voiced by modern familys Ty Burrell), and his son Sherman adopted pets. Event invites Shermans first day to lead the school in Peabody Penny and her parents for dinner, hoping that the children reconcile their differences and avoid the possibility of losing custody over Sherman. In an attempt to impress Penny, however, accidentally showing the WABAC Sherman - Peabodys time travel machine and ends up rewriting history and have dire consequences in the future if not installed right.I had not seen the original cartoon until I saw the movie, but I caught the episode on YouTube after submission and the number of scenes / dialogue that is not re-used in the film. Although he hold no nostalgia for me, his great vocal talent touch.The also little big. Theres Burrell above, but also some other well-known names including, but not limited to, Stanley Tucci, Patrick Warburton (Kronk from The Emperors New Groove), Mel Brooks and Stephen Toblowsky. Their voices indistinguishable really brighten their respectable characters. And, er, Robert Downey Jr. was originally cast as Peabody, Burrell makes here.After commendable job in less than impressed DreamWorks The Croods previous records and, more recently, Turbo, I end up enjoying It is more than I initially thought I would. Humor is very child-friendly and there is still a step down from what I would call old DreamWorks (Shrek, etc.), but it is a great story of family entertainment.
