Review: This is a film about the character of Noah Wyles series ER, but based on a book I've ever read titled A Princess of Mars. Originally going to be called John Carter of Mars, the film would have lost Mars to make it more attractive to a wider audience and this film is supposed to be the origin of the story of a Messenger Boy we * become * John Carter of Mars - which probably explains why they finally got the title first, we planned John Carter of Mars man in question is very end.The Virginia John Carter, former Civil War soldier who lost his family and is now in search of gold. The procedure is quite slow going in the beginning of the film, despite its set-up required for what is to come. Important things really get interesting until Carters transported to Mars, called Barsoom by the people there, who are green aliens from 9 to 15 feet tall with four arms called Tharks fangs. Thank you to the low gravity of Mars, Carter has a better strength and can leap great distances. Even we get a montage dedicated to him discover so many things. Some Tharks find him, at least that is hostile to a man named Tars Tarkas (Willem Dafoe expressed by), you end up thinking name Virginia Carters are due to poor communication. Subtitles are used until Carter is finally able to understand the Tharks and hear English. At one point, he comes to the rescue of a dog named Woola alien who is extremely loyal / Fast and became his constant companion. Carter also finds an ally in Sola (Samantha Morton). Finally meets the Princess of Mars itself, Dejah Thoris, after his rescue (its what it does). And this is where the real story Dejah Thoris begins. As and John Carter, Taylor Kitsch and Lynn Collins together (after the question was pretty boring X-Men Origins: Wolverine). Kitsch fits the role of long hair, and the hero (although it sometimes has some lean dialogue). Their reactions to strange situations, customs, etc., found himself having to deal with are very good. It is well matched with Lynn Collins, who manages to make Dejah very human reality (like when she is nervous about the presentation shes about to take when we first met in the city-state of helium ... although, curiously, nobody speaks loud funny as you would expect). Shes probably the prettiest thing on Mars, but it is also very intelligent and able to manage in a fight. Shes equal parts science and heroin action. Kitsch and Collins play each other very well, sharing moments both funny and touching them. As well is James Purefoy as Kantos Kan Although it is not a big role, manages to make the best of it is nice and easy, and sometimes funny. Mark Strong, meanwhile, remains the go-to guy to play villain. The history is not really easy to follow if you're not careful. Theres many names of things to do and a few twists here and there. The film feels like it rushes stuff a little late, and it has to end things. Given the running time, you could not as things should be, but it seems that the manufacturers have realized the film was reaching the end of their executio time ny still had something left to the attention of recent effects minute. The are exposed as dazzling as Dejahs blue eyes. The thought and effort that has gone into the design / creation of creatures, ships, costumes, etc. is totally on display on the screen. The music also helps. Although this film can not be taste cup of tea, it offers something a little different, instead of what would have been a pretty paint problem by numbers. Yes, some parts are predictable, but there are some parts that can not imagine. Do not let the trailers, not only all the crazy insane actions. A current real story going on here (always, of course, you can follow / I). Recommended for anyone whos looking for a quirky sci-fi bit.
